Paul argues from ‘nature’ in both Romans 1:26–27 and 1 Corinthians 11:14–15. 'Do not defile yourselves by any of these things; for by all these the nations which I am casting out before you have become defiled. As God addresses Israel, He is not just telling them to “be still” or “rest”.
